It's Time To Pay It Forward!

So very many people contributed to the Help ♥ Hank fund, and in so many ways. We cannot convey how truly helpful it has been for Hank to get the care he needed and how supported we felt. It made all the difference.

ALL the difference.

  . . .
We are hoping to do a small handful of hootenanny gigs throughout 2012 similar to [the December 16th, 2011] Fox & Goose show, to raise money for different animal charities. The goal is to invite some favorite performers (who may not do it frequently, or any more in some cases!) and also introduce some newer talent, all in one night, all for a good cause.  ~Allyson Seconds, 12/18/11

Hank - receiving a clean bill of health on February 10th, 2012

Now that Hank is well, it's time to pay it forward.

The first hootenanny gig will benefit the Mercer Veterinary Clinic for the Homeless, a non-profit volunteer organization which works through Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento to provide free spay/neuter services and healthcare to pets of the homeless.

So join us at the Fox & Goose Pub (10th & R, Sacramento) on Saturday, March 3rd, starting at 9pm, $6 cover (21 & over).  The lineup is coming together and is very exciting!  As of today, we have the following somewhat eclectic group of musicians confirmed - and what a great lineup it is!

Your hosts, Allyson and Kevin Seconds
Gabe Nelson (from CAKE, performing his solo work)
Emile & Tara Dalkey (of Sabokitty)
and

See?  Isn't that an incredible lineup?  Where else can you hear bluegrass, folk, rock and experimental music in one sitting for less than the cost of a movie?  (Answer: Nowhere that we know of.)  Show up early and have some pub grub and a beer, if you like.  Just make sure you show up.
